Julio F. Varela is the President and founder of Trivium Solutions LLC. He is responsible for the direction and management of the company with focus on the engineering team leadership. Julio's career spans over 25 years and began as an RF Design Engineer with NASA (contractor) and more recently as the Vice President of Engineering and Director of Operations for a federal contractor prior to starting Trivium Solutions. Over his career, he has lead in the design and development of technology products that span Antennas, Telemetry Receivers, High Data Rate Receivers, Satellite Command Generators, Ranging Systems, CCSDS Telemetry Processing Equipment, High Data Rate Recorders, ATC Voice and Radar Data Recorders, Autonomous Flight Terminations Systems, and Expendable Launch Vehicle Transceivers. He also lead and managed large Federal Sector Engineering Service Contracts that supported the development and deployment of new Satellite Ground Systems as well as the upgrade of existing systems impacted by obsolescence and IT Security Compliance. Julio holds a MS in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
